A Recreational Jallopy
|
[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ] |
Way back in the day, this relic hauled skiers up to the rope tow in the meadows beneath the Dan Moller Cabin. The letters read Juneau Ski Train on the side.

"Jallopiest Jallopy"
That's the Jallopiest Jallopy I've ever seen. But you know, that could be restored to a fine museum piece and worth a ton of $$$. You can Bank on it.
The Original Jallopy
And those lovely gear and pulley wheels, worth some $$$. Plenty of people would buy those. Better take the bike trailer along and grab a few. We sell similar down my way. |

$10 or a Green BikingPage shirt for the one who reads the lettering around the "1951"
Anticlockwise, I read:
J O N E K (O) S ( ) T R A I N
Anyone can englarge better or know the true name. Intersting challenge. |

Dang it! I got all excited cause I zoomed in on it to see what it said but I didn't scroll down and see the rest of the comments. For the record, it says "Juneau Ski Train" |

It's now even more blurred - overdid the wine during a trip to Spain. Nice weather though, so didn't mind being delayed 1/2 day due to volcanic ash affecting flights. Nice wine too! I seduced my first gal with a bottle! Kevin, it's a pity you work in a brewery instead of a winery. |

Brotherman, you have to let me know the minute you get to the states and I will immediately ship you off a couple bottles of our finest Gold Medal World Beer award winning 1998 smoked Porter in aged beer category. At $9.00 a pint, it's pretty great tipping back a fresh one on a daily basis. Any hoot, with the way I drink the wine gives me slush belly, so I pretty much sway away!!
I have a cousin from the Napa, CA, who scored work as a teen ager at a winery in the valley there. After 12 years, he pretty much has his gig together in the biz. Last winter he moved to New Zealand for a couple seasons of "brewing(?)". He loved it and I'm not having such a bad time kegging either!!
:)
It's a pity I can't grow hair anymore. That's a pity!! |

Well, if you have real kegged beer at $9 a pint it ought to be good. I tried some good stuff in a CA microbrewery. FAB. Make it a barrelfull !! |
