Before the storm, BF Twin Peaks.

This photo was taken with me standing on the west summit of Broads Fork Twin Peaks, overlooking the Salt Lake Valley 7,000 feet below. Behind my 1992 era mullet. over the Oquirrh Mountains to the west, a large storm was moving quickly in our direction. Once realizing this, my cousins Dave and Kelly and I booked into down into Deaf Smith Canyon, to my right. We managed to drop about 2,000 feet into the canyon before that storm hit us. Lightning strikes and intensely loud thunder above and all around us... we managed to get to our next camp in the middle of the canyon soaked to the core from the rain that storm dumped. Really harrowing to be so high on the mountain when that thing hit...
