To deceive the tedious days of winter, there is nothing better than a bit of healthy "Bicycle Cross" on an old abandoned motocross camp.

The trail consists of long straights, punctuated by bumps and jumps, long parabolic curves to be addressed at full speed (centrifugal FORCE is with us) and breathtaking chicanes.

There is all on a motocross camp to spend a couple of hours in joy, competing against yourself and finding every lap new challenges.

Time goes by fast, as the miles that you be able to do and only so many pounds of mud that will accumulate on your bicycle will be able to convince you that it's time to stop!

MUD Kingdom

Getting There

From Vinovo (Turin: exit "Debouchè" motorway Tangenziale Sud), take the statal road Sp 143 direction Vinovo.

Then take the statal road Sp 145 direction Piobesi Torinese.
Once you have reach the Industrial Pole of Piobesi you have to take the statal road Sp 142 direction Carmagnola.

Once you have cross the bridge on the river Po after 3 Km on your right there is the "Manuja" Motocross Camp.
Use as visual reference a tall chimney of an old abandoned brick factory.

Distance from Vinovo to the Motocross Camp approx 14 Km.

The Trail

To enter the camp of motocross you have to go through a hole in the fence (where there is a pile of abandoned tires).

A short stretch of dirt road, which passes next to a camp cultivated, leads you to the start of the track.

The motocross track must be traveled in a clockwise direction.
If the surface is dry, you can engage yourself in speed over bumps and make beautiful jumps.

In winter the track is a mud bog very tiring, for this reason forget the jumps, but at the base of the bumps there are always large puddles to cross safely and at speed.

The chicanes are hilarious and exciting long straights.

Inside the track is full of small lakes and marshes in the summer were used to wet the track and limit the dust.
